Who We Are & What We Stand For

Shree Kartik Swami Educational and Welfare Society is a registered nonprofit organization founded in 2024 with the mission to uplift the underprivileged and marginalized sections of society through education, skill development, and community empowerment. Based in Kharar, Punjab, our organization is dedicated to creating lasting change by equipping individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead better lives and become active contributors to society.

In a country with vast socio-economic disparities, many communities—especially women, children, and rural youth—struggle with limited access to education, employment opportunities, and social inclusion. Our society was established in response to these challenges. We believe that every person, regardless of caste, gender, income level, or background, deserves the chance to learn, grow, and shape their own future.

At Shree Kartik Swami Educational and Welfare Society, our approach is community-driven and grassroots-focused. We work directly with people living in rural areas, urban slums, and underserved neighborhoods, identifying their needs and designing practical programs that are culturally relevant and easy to access. Our programs are not based on assumptions—they are based on real experiences, shared struggles, and clear goals voiced by the people we serve.

Our core initiatives revolve around education, vocational training, and awareness-building. We run skill development programs such as Digital Literacy Training, Tailoring and Apparel Design, and Spoken English with Personality Development. These are not just courses—they are life-changing opportunities. They help our beneficiaries gain employable skills, become financially independent, and reclaim their self-worth and dignity.

Our Digital Literacy Training introduces participants—many of whom have never touched a computer before—to essential computer functions, internet usage, and basic software. It prepares youth and adults alike for employment in modern offices or further education in the IT field.

Our Tailoring and Apparel Design course focuses on practical stitching, garment design, and fabric handling. It enables women and youth to start home-based tailoring businesses or work in local boutiques, making it a direct path to economic self-reliance.

The Spoken English and Personality Development course builds confidence, fluency, and social skills, especially among youth who aspire to join the workforce, pursue higher education, or participate in interviews. This course often becomes a turning point for those who once hesitated to speak in public or felt left behind due to language barriers.

Beyond training, we conduct awareness programs on critical social issues such as human rights, gender equality, child protection, and health hygiene. These sessions help build responsible, informed communities who not only understand their rights but also learn to respect the rights of others. Empowerment, we believe, is not just about skills but also about awareness and mindset change.

Our work is particularly focused on women and girls, who often face discrimination, domestic violence, and limited access to education. By offering them free or low-cost training, mentorship, and emotional support, we help them break the cycle of dependency and take charge of their lives.

Since our inception in 2024, the Society has grown steadily in reach, reputation, and impact. We are proud to have trained dozens of individuals who have gone on to start their own ventures, secure respectable jobs, or simply become more confident in their daily lives. Every success story is a testament to our belief that with the right support, anyone can rise.

We also work in close collaboration with local educators, volunteers, professionals, and community leaders, creating a strong ecosystem of support for our learners. Our team is deeply committed, compassionate, and grounded in the realities of rural and semi-urban India.

Looking ahead, we envision a future where every household in our community has at least one skilled and self-reliant member. We plan to expand our reach to more villages, add new vocational courses based on market demand, and create a digital infrastructure to deliver hybrid learning options.
